Happy work anniversary to Greg!
My first “job” was at the age of 13 mowing lawns in the summer and plowing driveways in the winter. (I grew up in northern New Jersey), I also delivered newspapers and then at the age of 17, I landed a job in a grocery store, Shop Rite. It was a union job and at the time I was making some pretty good money!
One of my favorite memories at Flancer’s is accepting the G.M. position and moving over to our Mesa location. After being in the kitchen for almost 30 years it was time to move out front and learn something new!
One of the strangest requests I’ve seen is probably having someone ask to have peanut butter on their burger!? We get some weird requests all the time and if we have the ingredients we will certainly make it!
I have been living in Gilbert for about 6 years and really like the small town feel yet have most of the conveniences of a larger city! I have also been involved with the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce for the past 2 years. I have really seen Gilbert grow in the past 9 years since I have been at Flancer’s!
When not at work you’ll find me working in my yard and gardening with my 2 dogs Baxter & Bean! Spring is in the air and now is best time to be doing this!
No surprise here, I love to cook with my wife Tracy who is also in the restaurant business for 30+ years!
Last year we celebrated our 25th Wedding anniversary! Time really does fly when you’re having fun!
